You can't beat it May 22, 2008 This is a really great mouse. Very accurate and comfortable in my hand. I am running both Mac and PC and I found something interesting that I didn't see posted anywhere else. You have more options to control all of the buttons on the mac version of Set Point. (Yes even with Uber Options on windows)
Great mouse for the money. Don't be afraid of it being refurbished.
rx revolution mouse May 22, 2008 it is a graet product, it is realy revolutional and for the people who work with internet all the time , it is realy helpful, thanks
Great Mouse! May 20, 2008 Great mouse for large hands. It took a little while to get used to after switching from the Mighty Mouse but I'm glad I did.
MX Revolution May 20, 2008 This item, even though a refurbed unit, performs perfectly, and is everything a document writer could hope for in a mouse. The design also provides relief in my hand, which is somewhat arthritic. Good Product.
Another winner from Logitech May 20, 2008 I have been using Logitech mice since the MX500 and have bought probably a dozen of them for workstations I have built and for friends/family. They are reliable, accurate, and well-designed. That is no different with the MX Revolution. It fits in my hand well, the buttons are in the correct places, and it is just the right weight for me (I am a "general" user... some games, a lot of internet, Photoshop, etc.).
So, is it worth the MSRP of $100? Honestly, no. It's not that there is anything wrong with the mouse, it's just that it is not $50 better than the next best mouse. Since this was a refurb for me I only paid around $60 which feels like a very fair price. More fair, in fact, given that it did not come with 6 pounds of crap packaging to slice through. The main feature that distinguishes this mouse from the other top-tier Logitech mice is the free wheel (or whatever the free-spinning center wheel is called). It's pretty cool. It's not really necessary. At least, not $50 necessary (to go back to my earlier point).
So, the refurb is awesome, and if it were to die in the next year I would probably buy another (refurb). But I would not purchase a brand new one. I would probably just find a lesser wireless mouse.
