4 out of 5 stars Check with your vet   April 6, 2007

This is a very important product to our feline friends. If you live in the southern half of the United States you need to be aware of a Tick born disease that kills. We had a cat die last year due to cytauxzoonosis or "Bobcats Disease" it is a blood born parasite that is transmitted through a tick bite. We were using this product on the cat that passed but wasn't real regular about the every 6 week application. So he would pick up one or two ticks before we dosed him again. Unfortunately we were not aware of such a disease from a tick that kills, THERE IS NO CURE, IT IS A DEATH SENTENCE IF YOUR CAT GETS BOBCAT'S DISEASE. It is very important to check with your vet about dosing but our vet recommended using Frontline Plus every three weeks during heavy tick infestation season. So far using this product on our other two cats with this new dosing schedule has proven effective in keeping our cats healthy. #1 thing is to check with your vet on tick born illnesses in your area and dosing instructions.

Frontline Plus Cats 6pk is what I ordered and was the real product. I find Frontline works better on my pets than other company products. It also has no ill effects for my pets.

4 out of 5 stars Kills Fleas, Cat not Dead   February 7, 2007

I've heard all types of horror stories about Hartz and other budget monthly flea medicines killing 20% of cats. Frontline has not killed my cat so far. Yay! Seems to work fairly decently, although you may need to apply every 20-25 days or so instead of every 30. Doesn't seem to work quite so well near the end of the cycle.

5 out of 5 stars Seems to be working great.   January 31, 2007

We've been having flea problems with our cats and been using various sprays since they were still young (under six months). Now that they're six months old we decided that Frontline Plus seemed to be a good option. So far its been a month since we applied it and I haven't seen a flea since. I plan on reapplying every month for the next few months to see if that eliminates our flea problem for good.
