I HAVE USED THE PRODUCT FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS. THEY ADVERTISE PURE MINERALS, AND IF YOU LOOK ON THE VEIL CONTAINER IT HAS CORNSTARCH IN IT. ON THE FOUNDATION IT SAYS IT MAY CONTAIN TITANIUM DIOXIDE,ZINC OXIDE??

i honestly don't get the purpose of this stuff. the rest of the bare minerals line works great and definitely helps the appearance of my skin. but the mineral veil does nothing! it doesn't hide shine, it doesn't "infuse it with softness and light", or hide fine lines and pores. i ended up throwing the mineral veil that came with the bare minerals starter kit away. it's pretty much useless.

Since I discovered the entire i.d range of products, I have to say that this little gem of a powder has become my favorite make-up product of all time!! Never have I encountered a product that finishes up my make-up in a more silky, matte and natural way, it really gives you that photofinished look that makes your skin look completely flawless and beautiful at every angle.
Seeing some people mentioning that it brushes off to their clothes can ONLY mean that they are using too much product, you really don't need a lot to make it work.
Highly recommended!!

I absolutely LOVE this product! It is by far my favorite makeup tool. I love the finish it gives me, and it leaves a very nice glowing finish. I highly recommend this product!!!

I've been using Bare Minerals for about 2 weeks now, and I LOVE the mineral veil. I do have very light skin, so I can't speak for reviews in which there are claims that it "makes skin look lighter." However, as someone who struggled with patchy skin througout my life (and cystic acne when I was a teen), I can say that I am sold on this product for life. I have large pores, and BE covers them really well without clogging them. The mineral veil is definitely the "finishing product" for the BE line. However, if I do have one recommendation it is this:
Get a Demo!!! Or at the very least, watch the video!!! This make-up should not be coming off on your shirt (I would have noticed that, it has never happened to me. You need VERY little of it to do the trick. Also, there is no reason that the small amount that you put on should ever "cake," as some of the reviewers are claiming. I have friends who have used way too much of this product initially because they were skeptical about how little it actually takes. I was, too, until I went to a BE store and had my colors matched and my makeup done.
Nothing but great things to say about this product. It is great for balancing skin and can be re-applied (minimally!) throughout the day (although I have never seen the need for that, it stays in place well).
