I bought this item because my laptop speakers are just not loud enough to enjoy movies or music on. I wanted something small and portable rather than a large set of speakers. This product is perfect and the sound quality is excellent. The other fabulous feature is that it does not require an external power source. You just plug it in to your usb port and you are in a whole new dimension of sound. Would give this item more than 5 stars if I could. It is fantastic! I plan on buying a few more to give as gifts for Christmas.

At least twice the sound quality and volume of built in lap-top
speakers, (Toshiba). Very convenient,just plug into a usb port in
the computer, no wall plug required.
