$ November 8, 2008 this device is great. i too had one, same specs and brand. i paid $25 back in 2003 right before i went to iraq! you want over $300???? WOW! it's only 128MB! get in with todays pricing for something this small! i believe walmart has the 2GB version for under $50! do yourself a favor and go to your local walmart!
My first MP3 player June 6, 2008 Wow, can you remember when you thought 128 was plenty of space? It really wasn't that long ago! Anyway, Creative Labs NOMAD MuVo NX 128 MB Flash Drive MP3 Player hasn't failed me in years...I still have a few MP3 files and podcasts that live there, and use the flash drive to store a few important files as backup. Never had a bit of trouble with mine, just outgrew it and moved to other players with extra functionality.
Use it with confidence April 25, 2007 I see many others complaining about the product, but I have had no problems. The player is easy to load songs, they play good, and it is durable. I've had it for about a year now and no issues. Only minor complaint could be that the battery cover can come loose. Otherwise works great, I would defenitely suggest it for the price.

Take your friend out for beers before you waste your money on this thing. If you don't use it, it could last a very long time.
Excellent MP3 Player March 19, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased a Creative MuVo 128 NX about six months ago. Since then it has seen moderate use (2-3 hours a week) and I have no complaints. You get just what it says: a truly tiny MP3 player that holds a couple hours worth of songs. Also, the player is so light that you won't notice it while running/walking.
Pros: - tiny size and light weight - decent battery life (approx. 9 hours per AAA) - ease of use - several play modes (shuffle, repeat, etc) - voice recorder - plugs directly into USB port for file transfer
Cons: - 128 MB only holds a couple hours of songs - no built-in FM tuner (available on other models) - horrible provided headphones
Notes: I have "outgrown" this player and upgraded to the MuVo 512 TX FM. You'll be suprised at how quickly 128 MB fills up.
