Coated on the interior in water-based enamel, the bottle is taste-neutral and resistant to fruit acids, meaning water will taste pure even after filling it with juices and flavored drinks. Perfect for sporting use, the seamless, pressure-tested bottle is extruded from a single piece of aluminum, making it extremely durable and shock proof. The top is leak proof (even with carbonated drinks) and involves a simple 1/4 turn to open for drinking. The top piece and orange snap-over lid screws off, making it easy to clean; just rinse it out with hot water. Hand wash: Dishwasher cleaning weakens the durability of the coating and the top. This bottle is very durable and easy to clean. My toddler loves the cute design. My only complaint is that there is no flow control on the top, so it is lots of fun to pour out. This will be a great bottle when my daughter is older and can open and close the top herself.
