Great mp3 cassette adaptor. Good price and great sound quality. September 30, 2008 American Anko AVB AI-05 Cassette Adapter for iPod and MP3 Players
I bought this cassette adapter because my previous one broke. This one was actually better then my last one. It was better in sound quality, the cord plug at the end was positioned better (my previous one broke because the plug at the end had a bend in it and it would cause problems, this one has the plug straight), and the price was even better. I love the fact that you can wind up the cord so you do not damage the cord while storing it in your car or wherever. It is just a great device and if you have a tape player, I strongly suggest using this over any FM transmitter out there, much better.
didn't work August 27, 2008 sadly :-< Get one of those cigarette lighter adaptor thingys instead, got one and it works great.
Simply Did Not Work July 27, 2008 I bought this item to replace a $5 tape adapter I had for years (the wire had finally broken on it). I have a Dodge Stratus (02) with a factory tape deck in it. It wouldn't seat itself into the player. I tried using different angles, different amounts of force, and a few other tricks, but nothing works. I would stay away from it personally.
On my comments section to Amazon, when asked if I wanted a refund or replacement, I told them I'd just buy a different one from another company. It is too bad, because I did like the retracting cord feature.
Didn't work the moment I got it July 24, 2008 This tape adapter did not work from the second I first tried it. I however had already thrown away the packaging and the receipt. Need I say more? upsetting. I have purchased another tape adapter since which works perfectly by maxell.
Complete and total crapola July 23, 2008 Stay away from this item; it's pure junk. Bought it to play my nano through my truck's cassette deck and all it did was grind and rattle and get spit out. It did the same thing in another deck I tried it in, so it's getting sent back. I picked up a different brand of cassette adapter at Target (Scosche) and it works perfectly. Ten bucks might seem like a bargain for this; it's not.
