great product May 11, 2008 this is a great product. It does everything it say's it will. The warnings are very loud, and it's easy to set up.It makes my wife feel safer, because were in tornado season.Thank you
Works very well May 10, 2008 The Midland WR 300 works very well after I finally got the programing right. I'm 76 years old and I do have difficulty trying to understand today's written instructions. Good old fashion instructions written in plain english rather than contempory software jargon would certainly have helped. (and believe it or not, I am some what computer literate.) You have received this e-mail message and I did it all by myself. :-)
Must Have Radio May 10, 2008 This is a must have radio if you live east of the Rocky Mountains. Just last night my family was warned of a tornado on a path for our town in Virginia, we had plenty of time to gather the kids, dogs and cat in the basement to ride out the storm. Less than a mile away over 25 homes were highly damaged. Thanks NOAA and Midland for a great warning system!
weather radion May 9, 2008 This radio is just what I wanted - a radio that would alert you at night when severe weather is threatening. It also is very handy as a regular radio, clock & alarm. The battery backup is good for power outages.
Midland WR-300 May 8, 2008 Great product. Good piece of mind knowing I have a reliable weather alarm when the weather gets rough. I have had this radio less than one month and it has already given me three weather alerts. I have no complaints about this product and would highly recommend this radio to anyone.
