Better than Incadenscent January 2, 2008
I replaced 35 - 40w incadescent which equals 1400 watts on my 7 post lamps outside my house - With 28 of these bulbs which only equals 360 Watts. They are slight thicker so I could not fit the 5 in each lamp fixture - Also check the height becasue they are longer than normal torpedo shaped. But these are brighter than the 5 - 40 watt that use to be in each fixture. Great bulb and now I'm greener.
