 Ok performance, noisy fan October 5, 2008
I bought this card based on all the great reviews to replace a stock Nvidia Quadro FX card on my Dell workstation. The performance of this card on some 3D intensive game was ok, not great. The game was still playable but it really lagged when there were much actions going on on my 22-inch wide screen monitor. I had to set the game graphic setting to low. The on-board fan was quiet during the first few days of use, but then it started to get noisy. I could live with the performance of this card after all it has a low price; however, I couldn't tolerate the noisy fan. I have a quite pc, and the fan noise from this card really stands out. I have decided to return this card back to Amazon.

I just very recently ordered the GeForce 8500GT 512 Video Card. I was
VERY IMPRESSED, with the order process. I had the Video Card in just
a few days after I ordered it. I had planned to install it in my Win-
dows XP, but it would not work, instead installed it in my Windows
Vista. Had it installed in no time..very pleased with it and a price
I couldn't pass up. Strongly reccomend if video card is needed for
upgrade.

I like this product not only beacuse its cheap, but because its great. It really helped my pc out. Now i can play all the latest game. I reccomend this card to all you gamers who want a good cheap graphics card that will meet your needs.
