Work like a charm August 29, 2008 I've used about 30 of these discs and haven't had one fail while burning data or burning a label yet. Highly recommend these discs!
Blank DVDs July 29, 2008 arrived in timely fashion. and they are blank dvds what more needs to be said
Good price and good product July 21, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Very nice packaging and quality product. I had no bad disks with this brand. Amazon's shipping is snail like, but would purchase again.
Good backup storage media December 31, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have used many light scribe packs for my backup requirements. All of them have worked out fine as expected. Writing to the entire DVD at 16x speed takes about 15 mins. Printing on the lightscribe side takes another 15 mins for the best quality.
The technology has not advanced enough yet to provide color prints. This makes color images to show up shadowy. Better preview the image in b/w to see how it would look on the DVD. Another downside that I notice is that a pack of 50 usually has a couple of faulty DVDs. YMMV.
good product - wish it was silver on top December 17, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
The important thing is that I have not yet had to toss any of these out because of a 'bad burn' when authoring, relative to other brands I've used. My only complaint, and it's aesthetic, is that the top is golden in color, which I was not able to determine from any descriptions or promotional material. When labeling, I get better color if the top of the disc is silvery, rather than golden. But, when using Light Scribe (black & white), color isn't an issue. In terms of authoring, I recommend this product. In terms of labeling, I'm going to keep looking for a better alternative.
