2 out of 5 stars Sims 2 Kitchens & Bathrooms Review   May 15, 2008
1 out of 1 found this review helpful

I am a big Sims 2 Fan and when I added the "Kitchens and Bathrooms Interior Design Stuff" Pack to my game, it really didn't do that much for the game play over all. Like all "Stuff" packs, they just add new stuff to give you more items for your kitchens and bathrooms. Would I recommend the item for other Sims2 fams? Yes, but with most stuff packs I found out there are a few bonus items used as insentive "not" included that should be. For example like most packs there maybe an item missing and special codes to obtain to get the items. When I was looking for bonus items eariler I came accross many items that I never realized were offered with each expansion or stuff pack as bonus offers. With the purchase of the pack you should get a code to unlock the item or items. I ordered the Kitchens & Bathrooms Interior Stuff Pack and never got a bonus code to give me a poster or a toilet paper holder or even some neat clothing. The only way I got the bonuses were to look for them as a large pack. Would I recommend this for you? Only if you are a hardcore simmer would I recommend If you got by without the new stuff before then you'll do just fine.

3 out of 5 stars Nice, nice, very nice...   May 5, 2008

There are a few nice objects in this stuff pack. I especially enjoyed the inclusion of such items as bathrobes and sleepmasks! However, I downloaded the majority of this stuff (towel racks, stove hood etc) long ago from various fan run Sim sites. I only recommend this pack for anyone too paranoid to download from places like Mod The Sims, or for those who (like me) collect 'em all so I can get even MORE downloads without having to worry about not having the original object it's based on.

2 out of 5 stars Disappointed....   April 20, 2008

I was very excited to get this, pre-ordered it as soon as available. EA Games really hyped this stuff pack. When I received it, I was dismayed to see how little it had to offer. Not worth the price, should have been a $9 stuff pack and probably will be soon enough.

5 out of 5 stars Can't download from EA.   April 18, 2008

I have no idea what this stuff pack is like, since although I preordered it on April 5 from EA, the download still isn't available as of April 18. Though I've corresponded with EA customer service in the last couple of days, as of April 18 EA customer service is not available, and won't be for several more hours! This is seriously bad customer service.

3 out of 5 stars Nice stuff but there's one glitch- some refrigerator options missing   April 17, 2008

There are quite a few nice looking items to spruce up our sims kitchens & baths. Lovely walls and floors and a couple of nice hairstyles too, which is a plus. I definitely wouldn't pay $19.99 for it, or for any other stuff pack. I always try to find the best sale I can because I think twenty dollars is too much for a stuff pack.

That being said, there's a small issue that seems to indicate a rather sloppy oversight. The refridgerators do not have the options from Seasons to get leftovers and they do not have the options from Free Time to make snack platters. You'll need Lord Darcy's fix from MoreAwesomeThanYou to be able to have those options. Would be nice if EA provided a fix but they never fixed the Celebrations Stuff wedding arch so that it could be used for weddings on community lots (a feature added with Bon Voyage), the Teen Style Stuff computer is missing options included in other expansions, and the Glamour Life special TV you could get from BestBuy is missing Free Time options to watch movies. I'd be surprised if they fix this. Luckily they've all been fixed by Lord Darcy though.

That being said, it's still a pretty nice stuff pack. EA, in the future would you please check stuff like this? Seems to show a real lack of consideration for your fans that you didn't take 5 minutes to check that options from previous expansions would be available on the new objects.
