Lightest full standing Tripod November 15, 2008 I purchased this for the new SX10 IS Canon. It is just perfect for the person that wants something compact and yet extends to a full size tripod. Quick release. Ball Mount. You will most likely bring it and have it available when taking those unexpected low light photo opportunities.
Perfect Tripod for Digital Camera October 26, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is one of the best tripods for small digital cameras around. Sturdy. Well built and light. Easy to setup. Head is easy to adjust but rock steady.
What I wanted May 7, 2007 I am not a professional, but I was looking for a good and resistant helper for night shots and particular pictures: it comes up that this bogen-manfrotto tripod is exactly what I needed: it's high enough, it's not so heavy and it's not so expensive. it's true that the head is plastic, but if one takes care I guess it's good enough.
knob broken after 2 weeks January 10, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This tripod was recommended, so I bought one. Unfortunately I found out one knob that secures the extension was broken after 2 weeks use. Maybe because it is plastic, it is not strong? I was surprised because it is not a very cheap one. I am thinking to buy it again after I return to amazon or if I can find a better replacement.
