Product Description An incredible gift idea for those who appreciate clever engineering, the 5x10 T MiniQuick is a fun example of Zeiss performance in a nimble package. No bigger or heavier than a fountain pen-clips to shirt pockets - it rewards the viewer with an impressive field-of-view, with or without eyeglasses. The MiniQuick doubles as a magnifier; just look through the objective end. Ideal for travelers, scientists, patrons of the arts, peace officers, outdoor adventurers, or anyone who needs discreet optics at their fingertips.

MiniQuick Monocular Review September 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
To be honest I thought this item was a bit expensive when I bought it. But after I received it I'd say that it was worth the price. The quality of the optics is great and it is very well constructed.
Ultra-portable monocular August 30, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I just bought this one from Cabela's for $129.99 + tax. Also bought another monocular (Brunton) and Nikon binocular from Amazon.com. It is great. One thing best about this - ultra-portability. So, it has its own unique uses. Other monoculars would not fit in top shirt pocket, and look like a secondary male organ in the pant pocket.
The magnification and light is good. I was able to read license plate of a car across the big pond in front of my house, just over 300 feet, and also make out people's facial expressions. There was the expected shake, so I just steadied it by pressing it against the window sill.
Handy Dandy April 6, 2007 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
My small binoculars were just a bit too large to casually take along with keys and wallet when I'm popping out the door for a walk. Now the MiniQuick is nearly always clipped in my shirt pocket when I'm on a walk or off to a concert. I hardly know it's there until needed and had a good view of blue herons quite recently. I tried a couple small monoculars that were less expensive and nearly useless. Pay the extra bucks if you're looking for this type of tool and be assured that the Zeiss reputation for quality is well deserved. You won't be disappointed.
