Solid performance September 5, 2008 I really enjoy using the Zen. Good sound and plenty of storage. Organization is forthright and simple. I wish an option for choice of earphones were available, as I am not fond of earbuds, but I realize I'm probably in the minority on this. I'd give 5 stars, but the center controls are too close together for my big hands and I often hit the wrong command.
Zen 8 GB Portable Med Player September 5, 2008 The player work very good. The only proble that I have now is trying to get my e-mail to work. I have a serve company that I work with but still have a proble in that area. It is a little hard trying to get help if you know very little about this player.
I should be a salesman for these things! September 3, 2008 I love it! I love it! I have loaded my favorite albums, a couple of feature films, a bunch of Youtube clips and plenty of photographs and I still have room left. I showed it to my wife, and she wants one. But I told her that we never seem to use it at the same time, so we'll share it. I loaded all of her favorite meditation music and some Youtube yoga videos on a 2 GB SD card and she is as happy as can be. I have shown my Zen to five people and three went out and bought one.
Best Yet! More ZEN converts by the day.... September 2, 2008 I first bought a Phillips Go Gear because I liked the sleek look and thought it would do what I needed it to do. I had it for only 2 weeks when I became so frustrated, I returned it. It wouldn't transfer my playlists and I found it not to be very user friendly. I then began my search for one that suited all my needs. That's when I found the ZEN.... It is absolutely amazing! It does everything I need it to do... music, pictures, movies/videos, syncs with my Outlook (contacts, calendar, tasks), radio, SD slot for more storage, etc. It offers everything the IPOD offers for half the price. It's incredibly easy to sync as well. ZEN supports ITunes and Windows Media Player. The design is sleek with a large enough screen to even view a movie without giving me a headache. I'm not very gadget savvy, but the ZEN is so user friendly, I've recommended it to all my friends. Several have already put it on their Christmas lists for themselves and their loved ones. Best purchase this year, along with my Keurig coffee maker. I love them both!
OH Happy Day!
It Locks Up Quite a bit September 2, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Zen 8GB Player. This player has already taken a lot of my patience, the same day I received it through Amazon.com, the player locked up as I was turning it on. It locks up at times when you really want to listen to your music. I've had this player for 8 months now. I would not recommend this to anyone unless you don't mind going through the reset button, software resets, and lock ups. The only thing that I liked about this player is that it has an FM receiver that IPods don't offer, so I am sucking it up until then. If you want to hear the more, email me. mpampo @ yahoo . com (Take out the spaces)
