The first day I did this video I was feeling it.. I couldn't even walk down the stairs in my house and I was sore for two days afterwards... good product!! Definitely kicks your rear even doing the easy routine..

I consider myself an advanced exerciser. I am currently 49 (50 in June) and have been excercising since I was 18 (30+ years). I am going through menopause and have gained 10 pounds that I would like to lose. I own several DVD's, which include Turbo Jam (which I enjoy), several Kathy Smith (love her), Tae Bo, Karen Voight (good workout), and Slim n 6 (which wasn't hard enough for me). I did Jillian's DVD today for the first time. I started with Workout 1 and it was too easy for me so I skipped the cooldown and immediately went to Workout 2. In combining Working 1 and Workout 2 together, I got a great workout and the sweat was dripping. As another reviewer stated, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to take a few more seconds to get your heart rate down before going to the floor to do abs, even though I didn't do that. Also, I will need to increase the weights, as I started out with 3 pound weights. It doesn't target all the muscle groups so you need to do this in combination with other strength training. Also, the stretch/cooldown was too short, as it didn't stretch out all the muscles. I am going to try Workout 3 next time and hopefully that will be challenging in itself.

I just used the DVD today for the first time. I did Workout 1 and my heart rate was up within the first 3 minutes. I am not a beginner and I run about 15 miles a week. I was a little shocked how quickly this workout got me out of breath. Which is thrilling to me. I bought it so I could have Jillian beat me into shape like she does on the Biggest Loser!!

I love Jillian's tough love approach on The Biggest Loser. I got her DVD b/c I believe in her and I'm glad I did. This 30 Day Shred is 20 mins of intensity. I've burned easily 180 calories on just level one. I hate spending hours working out so this quick punch is enough to keep my weight in check and if I would stop eating such large portions I would actually lose weight!! Simple: normal portions + daily exercise = weight loss. Get a heart rate monitor!!!

I love this video! At first I didn't know how I was going to burn enough in 20 minutes, but WOW. This girl is a beast. She knows how to work you out fast! Its awesome! Nothing is difficult to do, it is just the intensity and speed you do it at. Great for beginners to advanced.
