Best battery light I've ever purchased August 2, 2008
The light took my charged DeWalt drill battery without a problem, and it's the brightest battery-run area light I've ever found. We have a lot of summer blackouts on my street, and I've recently been purchasing different LED battery lights to have for such situations. If I hang it at the entrance to a room, it lights up the whole room. I can work on art projects only using this thing for light, it's so bright.
Great Concept, Great Execution, Great Light July 24, 2008
I recently bought the DeWalt Fluorescent Area light to go along with the drill I already have from DeWalt. They make sturdy reliable tools, and the light does not disappoint. The flexible hook that extends from the top is very useful, the battery life is good, and the light is very bright. I have used it to rummage through the garage, go hunting for boxes in my basement, and I even used it to help me see while I vacuumed out my car one evening. It is a great product. The only suggestion I might make is to have some sort of battery meter or at least a low battery light, but I'll still probably buy another one even without that.
Portable lighthouse July 4, 2008
This light is both well constructed and light weight. There's easy access to the bulb should you one day have to replace it and the built in hook is convenient. It's a little expensive but you get what you pay for.

I love this light, very easy to maneuver and get the light where you need it. No cords is a wonderful thing.
I bought the B+D Firestorm 14.4 battery since it's a little cheaper and it works perfectly with this device.

I got my first one of these lights in a kit along with a new drill and I liked it so much that I bought two more. The light works with both the 12 and the 14.4 volt batteries and will last a long time on a charge. The light it puts out covers a wide area very evenly which makes it a very nice worklight. I would recommend this product.
