may not be for you. July 17, 2008 I sleep a lot during the day so I'm always looking for something to block out the light. My last pair wore out so I gave these a try. They have a thick flap of material that goes under your nose. When you do this it does block out all light but it also blocks you from breathing through your nose. I've found that this mask constantly keeps waking me up either from trying to breath through my nose or just the size of this thing. This is a very bulky mask and isn't very comfortable. I'm not happy with this mask at all.
Great! July 12, 2008 Having to work overnights I need to sleep during the day. This wonder mask keeps the light out without slipping off. Well worth the price.
Comfortable but hard to use July 7, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This mask is nice and soft and thick and comfortable, but like other masks I have tried, light tends to leak through the bottom of the mask. The biggest problem is that the thick sturdy adjustable strap tends to dig into the skin at the top of my ears. If I try to raise the strap higher on the back of my head, it doesn't stay on during the night. So I've given up using it. My husband had the same problem with it.
Great solution to sleeping in a bright room. July 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
When venetian blinds wiped out all use of the traditional "Pull-down Roll-up Window Shade" in the USA I was left with no way to get a good night sleep during the day. Room darkening blinds still do not seem to seal out the light enough. This mask was comfortable and let me sleep anywhere in an emergency, like in a car when the roomate is partying and the sun is about to come up, in a bedroom with venetian blinds before a night shift at work, or while the roomate does homework with the light on all night. Feels good sleeping on all sides.
Good, but not great June 30, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've used this for about three weeks now, and while it's definitely an improvement over t-shirt on head, or towel on head, it still lets light into my eyes (I admittedly have a big head).
Also, it's kind of warm (very padded), so summertime without A/C is less fun.
