 Stylish, but seperate pouch is a hassle October 9, 2008
The Baggu works great for what it is and is (for a bag) surprisingly stylish. I've only had mine for a few months, but I find that it holds a substantial amount and seems very durable. I have also found it comfortable to carry.
My main complaint, and something that is not clear from the pictures on Amazon is that the pouch is completely separate. The bag does not fold up into the little pouches you see. Instead you fold up the bag and insert it into the separate pouch. This isn't a huge deal, but I'm concerned that I'll lose the pouch.

These bags hold a lot of items, are easy to carry, easy to store, and come in many great colors. I would buy these for gifts to give to other people.

I love these bags! I hate the waste of plasic bags from stores and I don't feel confident that they are truly being recycled when I take them to reycling collection boxes at certain stores. My city has tried to outlaw plastic bags because as a desert comunity they are a real litter problem with wind blowing them into vegitation that ensnares them and because of thorns and prickly greenery, they cannot be easily removed. Even though paper bags are easily recyclable, I hate that trees are cut to make them in the first place.
These bags are so versatile. Thanks to the varied colors, I have certain colors designated for groceries, cleaning products and other non-food items. Each bag carries more than any stores plastic bag and even more than my grocery store puts into a paper bag. They are strong and have nice large handles with an opening large enough to carry the bag on the shoulder. As opposed to other bags on the market, these are easily washable without the worry of destroying the shape and making it less effective or ugly and mis-shapen so that I would no longer want to use it.

I've purchased six batches of these and I'll probably order more. I give them out to friends, family, and co-workers as an inexpensive way to make a difference in the world. From the feedback I've received, people really like them, and they actually use them, though not just for groceries. If you think they seem pricy, you'll be surprised at how well they're made; these things will last forever, and they hold about three times as much as a regular disposable grocery bag. Some reviewers have commented that the little storage bag they come with should be attached. I disagree, the storage bag would just get in the way when you're folding them up, and if you just shove it inside the bag with your groceries it won't get lost.

These reusable bags are light weight and hold twice what an ordinary plastic bag holds. I especially like that I can fold them, put them in their own holder and keep a couple in each car - no remembering to take them with me! I use them more often that way!
