| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Nevis is one of those Caribbean islands of which dreams are made--off the beaten track, little known and untouched by mass tourism. For a small island--a mere 35 square miles --Nevis possesses a rich and colorful history. It was the birthplace of Alexander Hamilton (1757); Horatio Nelson met and married Fanny Nisbet there (1787) at a time when the island's beauty, combined with the reputation of its planter and merchant families for social grace and good living, caused it to be known as "the Queen of the Caribees." Today, together with St Kitts, Nevis forms the independent Commonwealth State of St Kitts-Nevis. The fifth edition of this guide has been completely revised and updated and amply demonstrates that the island's claim to be "Queen of the Caribees" is proudly maintained.

| Customer Reviews:
Lot's of History September 12, 2008 Contains lot's of interesting history and background information which can add "depth" to your travel experience. Nice photos and some suggestions on what to do and see. But, it's not really a travel guidebook.
