From the supplier: Various Central American countries have formed a partnership that will promote regional development through research, conservation and tourism. In particular, Panama will be implementing an ecotourism strategy designed to highlight the country's rich cultural heritage through a master plan. This plan must focus on issues such as patronage of protected areas, the development of heritage themes and the formation of a network of staging areas for heritage tourism.
