Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Quality Reading   September 29, 2008
George (in order that the blind, visually impaired, reading disabled, and physically disabled) could also enjoy his works, has graciously recorded his titles for our regional library for the blind here in Mississippi. His voice is just as soothing and restful as the sound of waves against the gulf coast and readers will certainly enjoy this latest title. John Whitlock, Patron Services Director, Blind and Physically Handicapped Library Services, Mississippi Library Commission (1-800-446-0892).

This book will prove to be a future classic as an example of the author's ability to see and appreciate magnificence in the mundane. Thatcher proves there is a Walden Pond in everyone's backyard.
