Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
An adventuresome eighteen-year-old college grad hires on with Greyhound Bus line in 1946 as a company spy. Her job is to pose as a passenger on the bus and spy on the bus drivers, reporting back any theft, reckless driving, drinking, or anything else that would endanger the passengers or interfere with the company's profits.
Margean wrote daily letters home to her parents on the farm in Michigan describing her life as a company inspector and other details of her life on the road in the 1940's. This book is the collection of her letters unearthed in an attic in 2003.
It's a doozy of a book.
