Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
This is an "artist's" novel that takes place in Big Sur, California, and forms a verbal collage of rock music, astronomy and sexuality, so that the reader is perceiving a "canvas" that is like Postmodern art.

The narrator, Daydream, is interested in self hypnosis, past life regression and astral projection, and moves to Big Sur where he can meditate on the porch of the guest house while looking out on the Pacific Ocean.

Sunshine plays the role of the "ideal reader," because she likes to read novels, and appears as a character so that she can create the type of reality that will become the future.

This novel is written in the tradition of Henry Miller, Jack Kerouac and Richard Brautigan, and with 37 color photographs makes this a metaphysical "book of wisdom," a novel of spiritual self discovery.
