Product Description Learn to "think outside the box" with Brain Teasers, a book of mental puzzles by Kiran Srinivas! This exciting and diverse collection of mental puzzles will equip you with the valuable ability to "think outside the box." Brain Teasers teaches creative, non-standard approaches to problem solving, and will force you to think in ways you never have before. Brain Teasers includes many interview puzzles, and if you plan to interview at an investment bank, consulting firm, high-tech firm, or in any other related field, mastery of the puzzles and the logic attached can be the deciding factor in getting that offer. Although many of the puzzles are difficult and challenging, a middle-school education is sufficient to enable you to solve almost all of them. Also included are popular interview questions given at Microsoft and Goldman Sachs, old-time favorites of celebrities such as Warren Buffet, Lewis Caroll, and John F. Kennedy, and new puzzles created by the author. Brain Teasers might initially strain your brain, but it offers ample opportunity to expand your creative and mental abilities as you "learn to think outside the box."

Nothing New! January 6, 2009 I tried to find some puzzles to use for team building that could not be found on the internet via search engines...boy was I disappointed. I input the first couple of words from the first puzzle, imagine my suprise to find the whole book scanned into google book search, every page, every solution.....Highly disappointed.
Top notch August 10, 2008 The problem with many "brain teaser" books is that they all have many of the same questions. That is not the case with this book. The questions in this book are challenging and fun. Makes for a great book to keep at the office to break up the monotony of the work day.
Great book August 21, 2006 Excellent book, especially for those who are preparing for a case interview, I would recommend it for everyone. Easy reading and superb explanation!

The puzzles and brain teasers presented in this book have been enormously helpful for my recent interviews! i was astonished when top banks asked me the EXACT same puzzles that were illustrated in this book! i HIGHLY recommend this book to ANYBODY who is interviewing at any banks, it will help you tremendously!
This is very helpful September 14, 2002 3 out of 8 found this review helpful
I've alredy been thru the typical i-banking and consulting interview rush and I only wish I had this book back then. Not only will it introduce you to the type of questions you may be asked, it will also get you to start thinking in a smarter way. I highly recommend this book.
