  Even Better than it looks! August 8, 2008
It's beautiful, and I love it. My friends are very impressed with it, too (!).
For the price (<$150), it can't be beat!
At the gym I wear a small(Ladies) Timex Ironman. It's face is about the same size as the Bulova face. It's larger than a quarter, smaller than a 50 cent piece. Very easy to read. The band was quite large, and was very easy to have adjusted. My wrists are about 6.5" and I think 7 links were removed.
Best yet - those are real diamonds!
Highly recommend...Bulova is a solid timepiece manufacturer. It's a great watch!

I am very pleased with this purchase. I searched for several days before I found the combination of larger face size and two tone band. I needed to have the band shortened, but that took only a few moments at a jeweler's. The watch goes well with any outfit.

I've been shopping around for a watch for myself as my husband's Christmas gift to me this year. (Don't leave the big purchases up to fate.) There are so many to choose from - it gets dizzying. Finally, I saw this watch and it just caught my eye. It arrived today, only 3 days after I ordered it, well packaged and the shipping was free.
I am very pleased with the price. I found it at one major retailer for $337 and another online retailer for $299. We just paid $199 with free shipping. Very pleased indeed!
The watch is absolutely stunning! I couldn't be happier. I converted the millimeters to inches online and put a ruler to my wrist, so I had a good idea how big the face would be and for me, it is perfect. I do have a small wrist, but I like a slightly larger face, so it worked out perfectly and I would imagine it would for just about anyone. The diamonds are sparkly, the mother of pearl lovely, the dial uncomplicated and easy to read and the band is a snap to connect. The band itself is really pretty and unusual, which is partly why I got it. It is metal and a little wide (on my small wrist), but very feminine unlike a lot of watches out there. I had to steer clear of the Citizens for just that reason (even though I really wanted their eco drive); their bands are clearly "sporty" even with the diamond bezels. This Bulova is definitely a dress watch.
I should mention that the band snaps together inside rather than outside making the mechanism "invisible." I have never seen one like this, but it is a great detail that adds to the class of the piece and probably makes it less likely to catch on something and fall off your wrist. It does arrive with a very long band, so you'll need to take it to a jeweler to have it adjusted, but that's to be expected.
I will check back in in about 6 months to report on its performance. It arrived working. ;-}
