I bought this for my niece for her 18th birthday and when I got it in it looked more suited for an 8 year old. I thought the pictures were gorgeous and I had found it in a 5 hour search for the perfect piece of jewelry that also had her birthstone. I got it in fairly quickly in a couple of days and when I opened it I was more than a little shocked at how teeny tiny it is, and the chain is almost short enough to be a bracelet. I am debating sending it back for what was my second pick. Very very disappointed :(
