Pretty but not color changing August 9, 2008

I picked out this ring because it was described as color-changing and the picture makes it appear so. In actuality the stone is a clear purple color. It will not pick up blues, greens or any other color besides purple. It is safe to say that the picture was probably doctored or was in a blue lit room because mine has yet to pick up any other color besides clear purple. I was disappointed because I was specifically wanting a color-changing ring. However, if you do not care about color-changing quality in a stone, then this ring is beautiful and you will enjoy the clear purple stone. All of the little diamonds catch your eye and are very sparkly. The ring is beautiful overall.
