Definitely a challenge! July 3, 2008 First the pros: they look good, are lightweight, take up little space, voice quality excellent, programming not too difficult. Cons: Caller id very erratic...sometimes just says "out of area"...why? Difficult erasing "missed calls". Time lapse before seeing caller id. I already recommended this phone to my son and he's experiencing the same problems. Don't think I'd recommend this product to anyone else. Signed: Ready to scream.
Easy to use, but a few small glitches. July 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am mostly satisfied with the product, but the reviews were a bit misleading. I found a few things not mentioned by others that are...lets say, annoying. When you don't answer the phone, it reads "4 missed call" or however many you don't get. It stays there for days until you use the caller ID and scan through all of them. Even then mine still is reading "2 missed calls". Also, when I am talking, there is this intermittent dead "sound" on the other end. The person can hear you fine, but you have the feeling that they have hung up. Weird. One last annoyance, the ringer can not be turned off. We have young children napping and I have to take it off the hook. Even our old phone had that feature. I am being nitpicky, I know, but overall I might have researched a bit more before buying. Pros: it is easy to use, message system works well, ringers loud, visible screen, clean look.
Great phone June 30, 2008 Clear reception, battery holds charge for an extended amount of time, phones are inter-changeable with the different bases, great price.
  It's Ok June 29, 2008
I purchased this telephone set based on Amazon reviews. I loved my Vtech 5.8gz - but the batteries weren't holding after a year and they were too expensive to replace.
Cons - Actually the only complaint I have about this Panasonic is with voice clarity - it seemed as if the voices were muffled and I found myself saying, "huh - what did you say" A Lot! However, the problem was taken care of after I added my hands-free headset. I must admit now I can talk with or without the 'hands-free' it just took some getting use to.
Pros - battery life is excellent and the batteries are inexpensive compare to my VTech.
As usual delivery was quick and the price is always right!

Phones have good range but sometimes sound as if they cut out sometimes (but really have not), causing you to ask "can you hear me now"?
