Great Colorful Shoe June 18, 2008
I bought the Acid/Steel Blue Lotus just before a trip to San Francisco. They were really great for walking around the city.
If you're looking for... May 26, 2008
...comfort, reliability, flashy cool colors, and all-around practicality, then I suggest Kangaroos, Lotus style. I'm on my third pair and I don't intend to stop wearing them anytime soon.
I recommend checking your local Ross, Dress for Less Store and/or ebay before purchasing these on Amazon. You can get them for much cheaper elsewhere, but the availability is inconsistent. Ross carries them sporadically, but with a price range of $13-$20 (and no shipping)!
In terms of wear, I generally wear a size 8 and I have size 8 Roos, so don't worry about getting the wrong size. Even if they feel a bit small at first, they will quickly conform to your feet. I have narrow flat feet and knee issues. Kangaroos consistently offer the foot support I need on an everyday basis. The memory foam will serve well for at least a year or two of very frequent wear. With their light weight and versatility, they are supremely useful for general walking needs. I've received a barrage of compliments for the unique look and color of Roos. The only downside is the suede, as I live in a frequently rainy area and suede doesn't handle water that well. Even so, I highly recommend these shoes. I have had one pair for almost 4 years and I have no intention of tossing it, as it is still perfectly functional and comfortable. They wear down on the souls and heels first, but they can take a good pounding before they completely give. I can't stop buying more pairs every year, because I love this type of shoe so much.
