Product Description You don't have to eat like an animal just because you happen to be dining outdoors. Not when you take along the ingeniously portable, incredibly versatile, spillproof and functional Outdoor Meal Kit. Our one-of-a-kind Meal Kit makes it easy to prepare, clean-up and enjoy the great taste of every campfire meal. Designed especially for Light My Fire by Scandinavian designer Joachim Nordwall, our Meal Kit is perfect for your backpack, boat, picnic basket, even your lunch box. The Meal Kit contains everything you need to prepare and eat a meal anytime, anywhere: two plates, a spill-free cup with lid (300ml), a combined colander and cutting board, a "spork" (combined spoon and serrated fork) and a small waterproof box for all those things that just have to stay dry. The spork is made of a tough and durable PC (polycarbonate) material and the rest is made of PP (polypropylene), an environmentally-friendly plastic.

Eating Well September 8, 2008 I got the kit and the harness, though it fit easily in my pack so I ended up not clipping it to the outside. I like that the harness keeps everything together. The fork/knife/spoon is comfortable to use and all of the pieces are good, useful sizes. The kit is sturdy and easy to clean. My only complaint is that the cup lid could use a ventilation hole. It is a little difficult to drink out of as it's designed.
Great lunchkits, no wasted paper or plastic March 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought these for my children. they make excellent lunch kits and I am not using wasteful bags and wraps. I also bought the harness for my son, he can hook it on his belt or backpack.
Compact unit, easy to carry December 8, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
In my son's Boy Scout Troop, each scout (and leader) is required to bring their own eating utensils on each outing. The Light My Fire MealKit is easy to pack, use and more importantly, wash. I would recommend this item to any one who likes to eat outdoors.
Mess Kit for Boy Scout May 14, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The Light My Fire Outdoor MealKit was purchased for my son who is new to Boy Scouts. He used it on his first campout and it performed great. All the equipment is made of tough materials, you can tell it is going to last a long time. Everything stores together neatly and is a spacesaver in the backpack.
Style and function May 12, 2007 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
In this world plastic is a word synonymous with disposable, cheap, and of poor manufacture. Not so for the Light My Fire Outdoor Meal Kit. One could go through life using disposable plastic containers to take food to work on a hike, but this lacks style and isn't environmentally friendly. There are other plastic personal picnic kits, but they pretty simple and not quite as functional as this kit. The units all stack together for a compact form. The lids that are supposed to keep a seal do.
The only part that seems a little silly is the spife (spoon-fork-knife), but that's mostly because I am a spork kind of person.
