| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Review Sized for boiling pasta, simmering soup, or cooking for large groups of ravenous hikers, this rugged yet lightweight aluminum pot is ideal for backpacking, car camping, and all-purpose outdoor use. A nonstick finish both inside and out keeps food from sticking and makes clean-up a breeze, while the matte exterior conceals soot from campfire smoke. A high-domed lid with a small loop handle creates an airtight seal that's perfect for steaming rice. The adjustable bail handle is riveted for strength--allowing you to lift even a full, heavy pot with ease. Open Country's matching one-, two-, and four-quart pots plus their covers nest inside this one to create a compact unit. --Mary Park

| Customer Reviews:
Big pot for group use November 4, 2007 If you're a backpacker, I suggest this pot. It's lightweight, fairly cheap, and does a good enough job for backpacking. For an aluminum pot, it's nothing fancy but distributes the heat well enough for most basic camp cooking like pasta and chili. Try stacking a smaller pot inside the 6-quart (or this 6-quart inside a larger pot) if you want to bake or cook something that requires comparatively more finesse. Too big for solo backpacking unless it's winter, in which case you may need to make water with a larger pot (making water in a small pot is extremely annoying, in my experience).
