 Outdoor all weather thermometer July 26, 2008
Purchased as a gift for my father-in-law for their outdoor pool. Nice large numbers for everyone to read while soaking in the pool. Not fancy but works well so far.

I really appreciated the colors and somewhat larger numbers, because I'm normally trying to look at it from the pool or from my kitchen window (we have it hanging on the patio outside). Only had it for 3 mos so far, and I like it. I think it runs maybe a degree or two higher than normal, but I'm going to see how it does during the summer with our 100+ degree days, and I'll post again to let you know how it survived!

I bought this for my husband to replace our old fading outdoor thermometer, only to have the red numbers of this one fade within weeks. I wouldn't buy it again.

I purchased this to keep an eye on the temperature and humidity in my server room. I already had a digital temp/humidity meter, but it has a small display that's hard to see.
I chose this particular model for it's large size, high visibility, and I like the colors ;-).
Pleasantly surprised when I received it to find that is has a real glass front, not cheap plastic.
Mine was a little bit off on the temperature reading, but it's extremely easy to calibrate; just open the door on the back and rotate the little black box until the needle shows the correct temperature. You can also adjust the humidity meter, but mine was right on with my digital meter.
I had checked a few local stores in my area, but none had a model like this one; all they had were bronze or white and I wanted some color. I have Amazon Prime, so shipping was not an issue.
