Product Description Naturally, you like to welcome friends and family to your home, and this hummingbird welcome plaque is the perfect way to do it! More than just a painted flat image, this 3D design is crafted and carved from natural finish cement, to give the image of flowers and a hummingbird greater depth and presence. A delightful gift for nature lovers, and for housewarmings. 6.5 x 6.5 x 1.5 inches.
Amazon.com Review Designed with the same delightful wit that you find in all of Carruth Studio's pieces, the hummingbird welcome plaque is a charming way to introduce some joy and character to your garden or front porch. "My desire is to provide original designs that not only plant a smile on your face," George Carruth explains. The whimsical hummingbird on this plaque sips from a pair of morning glories, welcoming and inviting your guests. The stone has been designed with great detail, from the delicate leaves of the morning glories to the feathers of the hummingbird's wings. Cast from an original Carruth design, the stone concrete conversation piece is ready to hang from a hook inlayed on the back. It seems that Carruth characters are always smiling, and chances are that with this hummingbird to greet guests you will be too.

The Mourning July 28, 2005 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have bought 3 of these. 1 for the front yard, 1 for the backyard and one for a funeral. This is not only great for gardens, but can also be used for temporary headstones.
A wonderful garden piece! June 27, 2000 27 out of 29 found this review helpful
This plaque is simply adorable! It really is well made and quite heavy. It IS NOT that cheap resin but a type of concrete or something of that nature. It could easily go anywhere outside. I plan to use it outside my front door where it gets the most exposure. My ONLY complaint is I would have liked it a bit larger. It's very natural looking and, for those talented folk, it could easily be painted or tinted with a bit of color to make it REALLY stand out! The possibilities are endless. A very versatile piece.
