With see-through mesh screens on all sides, users can enjoy a view of the fire from every angle. Warm and bright, the outdoor fireplace offers a great centerpiece at a small summer pool party or while drinking cider after caroling in the neighborhood. With 334 square inches of space, the fireplace frame features heavy-duty 100-percent steel construction. Powder-coated for high temperature-resistance, the frame provides durability and functionality for fires built with wood, charcoal, or artificial logs. Charbroil also installed a log rack for user convenience. The four mesh side screens remove to allow users to stoke the fire, roast marshmallows, or clean out debris, while containing sparks. For enhanced safety, position the fireplace on a flat cement or dirt surface, away from tree branches and dry grass. Do not leave fires unattended and keep a bucket of water or hose near by for any unexpected flare-ups. This product requires assembly upon purchase.  Good value, great gift idea December 26, 2007
From the moment I gave this present to my next door neighbor, they have used it non stop. They don't have a traditional fireplace like we do, so, I got them the next best thing. They love being outdoors, and sitting next to a crackling fire. They told me its the best present they could have ever received. Construction is very easy with the included instructions, and the black powdered coated parts are very durable. For the price, its a very good value.

I've only had this for 3 weeks, and it's only been out of the box for 2 weeks on our back deck. And it's already rusted. Plus, the coating on the top is wearing off. Am I supposed to take it inside at night? Kinda defeats the purpose.

Great little fireplace. The handles make it easy to cart around the yard. The flip down doors being on both sides is another plus.

I really spent a long time looking for a fire-pit on the internet. Had actually purchased the coffe-end table that turns into a fire-pit when you remove the copper finished top, but that was a total disaster. True-value - the vendor, basically lied twice to me with regard to shipping dates. Needless to say it was over 2 weeks and numerous phone-tag sessions before they finally just said that item is now on back order and will be available in 2 more weeks!! But my experience here with the Charbroil was completely the opposite. Arrived on time, solid build, EZ assembly (2 people if your not so adept), and ample space for wood make this unit stand out...and the price is unbelievable for the quality. Only reservation is the side units which detach for access on both sides. Although that is a positive feature, they are not securely attached to the unit and just sort of snap into place. It would have been better designed if you could latch lock them for added safety. But all in all, very pleased.

After researching outdoor fireplaces on Amazon, I chose this one because of all of its positive reviews. I am so pleased that I did. Not only did this item arrive on my doorstep within three days, but it was extremely easy to assemble. It is a good size for building a nice fire, and the removeable screens are great for the safety of little ones around the fire. I love how sturdy it is, but it's still light enough to move so we can mow. One unexpected bonus: the packing materials make great kindling!
If you are looking for some great family time that's not centered around the television, buy this fireplace!
