5 out of 5 stars Great for camping.   April 10, 2008
Had this for about 9 months now. Bought it for camping mostly. After my full sized grill quit working I started using this more often. Haven't had any problems with it. I've cooked steaks, pork chops, burgers, hot dogs etc. Thinking about buying another one to have for a spare.

1 out of 5 stars Broke when assembling   March 21, 2008
Despite following directions, the cheap bracket that holds the burner to the bottom snapped during assembly. Very flimsy product -- you definitely get what you pay for. It's going back.....

5 out of 5 stars Perfect for the Price   December 11, 2007
This is perfect if you want a low cost table top camping grill. It cooks evenly and surprisingly well on a 1 pound cylinder.

2 out of 5 stars NOT THE BEST   November 9, 2007

I purchased this grill about 3 years ago. I was initially happy with its performance and loved the fold up legs, but I would never buy another one. The construction is cheap and flimsy, which I didn't mind at first since I only use it on camping trips. The downside to the cheap materials is that the burner does not get hot enough to properly sear a steak, and the legs are quite unstable. I was also never comfortable with the flimsy connection between the regulator and the burner. This grill can also be exceptionally hard to light. I've also had a problem with the heat shield falling out of position whenever I transport it. Most recently one of the cheap plastic handles broke worsening this problem as the heat shield rests on the inside of the nuts that hold the handles in place.

Despite these significant flaws I've still been able to cook some decent meals. Since I only paid about $30 for it, and got 3 years use out of it, I really shouldn't complain. However, now that I'm replacing it I'm buying a Weber Q100 which I've read has better performance and will last much longer.

4 out of 5 stars Works for me   November 5, 2007

Just got back from camping - and this little grill really worked well. We were able to cook kabobs, burgers, and with the use of a griddle pan even bacon and hash browns on it. Heating is fairly even, though there do seem to be a couple of hot spots. Nothing that can't be worked out my moving things around a bit once you know they're there. Very portable as well. Lid comes in very handy to speed cooking - and if it's windy. Hard to beat for the price.
