con: I was disappointed when I received the item. It was suppose to be a 12 inch monkey but it looks like a 6" dog. The legs a place in the wrong way.
pro: I did receive the items quickly.

EVERYONE HAS HAD A SOCK MONKEY AS A CHILD AND NOW YOUR DOG CAN HAVE ONE TOO. I SAW THIS FROM THE PET STORE LISTED AND THOUGHT IT WAS A CUTE SMALLER VERSION. THE PRICE WAS RIGHT SO I ORDERED IT FOR OUR NEW LAB PUPPY. SHE IS IN LOVE WITH THIS SOCK MONKEY. IT LOOKS GREAT EVEN AFTER THE PUPPY CHEWS ON IT WHICH IS AMAZING. HER FAVORITE TOYS ARE THIS AND THE LOOFAH DOG YOU CAN ALSO GET ON AMAZON OR AT A PET STORE. I'M GOING TO GET AN EXTRA ONE B/C IT KEEPS HER HAPPY, ENTERTAINED AND QUIET.

This was actually the 3rd sock monkey that I have purchased, so I should have known better, but my little dachshund just loves them.Unfortunately, within 2 days, the stuffing comes out and I have to throw it away because I don't want the puppy to choke on it.I have now learned my lesson and just made him a substitute sock monkey out of old socks.I fill the sock with old socks, so no choking on the batting.Guess what? He loves it and it hasn't come apart.

My dogs loved this toy since it combines the attributes of a sock and the shape of a stuffed animal. Plus, it hasn't been ripped to shreds yet.
Monkey lost its tail February 10, 2007
Our dog likes to play with this toy, but its tail came off within five minutes. The dog did not chew it off or anything, it fell off while tossing it around the house for her to go fetch. Overall, its fun but not durable.
