 Great product but zipper not that resistant February 28, 2008
I had my bag for about 1.5 yrs and it is a great product initially, but the zipper is not that resistant. I used it on average a couple of times a week (sometimes not even) and about a couple of months ago I noticed one of the zippers (the one I used the most) is now starting to get stuck. The bag is very well made otherwise and looks good. It is masculine enough for a guy and perfect for airline traveling... I just wish that zipper was better.

This carrier arrived on time, well packaged and as described. It is extremely well made, a good deal for its price and easy to carry as back back. One of my two cats who used to put up homeric fights to get in her old one, then wailed all the way to the vet, now goes in by herself and is most of the time silent. The other cat who is mellow appreciates it as well.
Recommend both carrier and Petco, for their products and customer care.

I was worried this carrier might be a little small for my 8 lb. adult cat, but he is very comfortable in it. My vet said that most people err on the side of carriers that are too large, and that cats actually tend to like smaller spaces because they feel more secure in them. In any case, Truman is able to turn around, and he relaxes nicely when he's in the carrier.
It's not a struggle to get him in, and taking him out is a cinch too, since one of the panels unzips entirely to lie flush with the floor. There's a nice furry pad in there, and the mesh allows the animal to see out as it likes. A small zipped pocket can hold a brush and a ziploc of food or some favourite toys.
