horrible design and not practical August 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I received a defective backpack which is why I mainly returned it. The water bag leaked. However, I would have returned it anyway as the pack is not designed to stay on the dog's back when walking. The material is slippery and with only 2 straps, one around the chest and one around the mid-section, the pack kept falling to the left or right. Maybe if you strapped it on so tight to the point that your dog couldn't breath it might have stayed on. Also, why would a dog need a drinking tube, I wasn't thinking, they aren't able to suck the water out of the tube. You're much better off getting a real pack that sits on both sides of the dog and have them carry a nalgene and a collapsible water bowl.
