Feliway (Comfort Zone) spray and diffusers prevent cats from urinating where they shouldn't. This fantastic new pheromone Feliway spray or diffuser duplicates the smell of a cat's natural scent glands. Cats will not soil anything close to where Feliway has been sprayed. Containing the synthetic scent hormone, the plug-in diffuser allows the Feliway scent to permeate throughout the environment. Each plug-in will cover an area of 50 to 70 square metres and lasts approximately four weeks. Alterations in the cat's environment such as visits to the vet, moving house, new arrivals, or nervous cats may manifest themselves as a change in behaviour such as urine marking, scratching, loss of appetite and refusal to play and interact. The diffuser helps to restore a feeling of calm in the cat. Early feedback on this product has been very positive, particularly for nervous cats. Contains one electric device and 48ml vial. NB: If cat urine marks several rooms (with total surface area of more than 70sq.m), use an additional diffuser in one of the other rooms which have been marked.

 Gooey mess on the wall! July 8, 2008
The Comfort Zone diffuser did not make any detectable difference in our cats spraying problem. I had such high hopes because every single product review I found was so positive! Moreover, within three weeks, there was a sticky film of the Feliway compound surrounding the wall where the diffuser was plugged in. Gross!

Life saver May 27, 2008
Saved my cat's life anyway. One cat had started to pee on everything. She disliked the younger cat and hated to travel (which she had to do every 6 weeks for 3 hours.) She was born feral and extremely shy. I can't believe the change in both cats behavior. The wild cat is calm, affectionate, hasn't soiled since I got the Feliway. The "normal" cat has stopped scratching the furniture.The only problem is he is so affectionate that I only plug in in every other day! I bought both the plug in and spray.

Feliway has been a great help to our cat. It has allowed us to cut back on the litty prozac she gets.

We recently took in a stray and already had two cats firmly established in our home. No matter what we tried, one of our original cats would simply not accept the newcomer. We would wake up to screaming and growling on a regular basis. Based on our vets recommendation we tried Feliway. I ordered the spray first, and did not see any real change. I then ordered four of the diffusers. After about two weeks, the intensity of the encounters began to decrease. Today the situation is not perfect between all cats, but it is very much improved. I purchased the diffusers from My Pet Health Supplies, and they ship lightning fast. I have purchased refills for the diffusers as well. Interestingly the four diffusers seem to use the liquid at different rates. Two of them last the predicted four weeks, while the other two only seem to last about half that long. I would recommend trying the product. Our house is much more peaceful now.
