Product Description
PetzLife Oral Care GelPetzLife Oral Care Gel works fast and naturally to remove plaque and tartar on dogs and cats. It also safely kills bacteria on contact, helping to eliminate bad breath. The secret? A proprietary blend of Grapefruit Seed Extract and other all natural herbs and ingredients produces a very safe and effective alternative to scaling. Wild Salmon Oil is added for a tamer taste, but also adds additional health benefits (for example, healthier coat and heart, are just a few benefits of salmon oil). One bottle will last at least 3 months if used as directed (and 6 months if used for maintenance). * 100% natural * Safe alternative to scaling * Save hundreds, if not thousands, on dental work * Safe for dogs, cats... even humans * Doctor formulated in FDA approved labs Ingredients100% All Natural Distilled Water, Grain Alcohol, Proprietary Blend of Extracts and Oils including: Grapefruit Seed Extract, Grape Seed Extract, Peppermint Oil, Rosemary Oil, Thyme Oil, Neem Oil, Wild Salmon Oil.DirectionsApply gel to the largest area of tartar. You will notice your pet licking its lips repeatedly. This helps mix the ingredients with your pet's saliva to coat all surfaces of your pet's teeth and gums. For the first week, use twice daily if there is a heavy tartar build-up and/or red, inflamed gums are present. Otherwise, one application per day is normally all that is needed for moederate build-ups. For best results, withhold food and water 30 minutes before and after applications. Nighttime is best so that PetzLife Oral Care can work all night. Brushing is not necessary but it will help accelerate the desired results. The brushing action helps remove plaque and tartar that has already been softened. Use a soft or finger brush, or a piece of gauze or tissue and wipe the teeth after about 8 days.Gel 4 OZSpray 2.2 OZ

4 out of 5 stars orange gel   October 28, 2008
have used gel on my 7 year old dog. Once a day for two weeks. It is changing the color of her teeth. Breath is better. Dog doesn't really like the taste, but she is letting me rub the stuff on her teeth. I am thinking that it will take at least a month for it to really work. This is working much better than paying my vet $450 dollars to clean her teeth. I havent tried using the spray bottle yet.

4 out of 5 stars Works Great, but Careful on the Dose   May 11, 2008

I have a 14 year-old American Eskimo who still likes to chew daily. Before buying this, we had her in for an annual dental, but I honestly don't think she's going to need it any more. My only caution on this is to not overdo the gel dosage. Whenever I do, she's keen to find grass to munch on to settle her stomach. A few times, she's thrown up. So I'm learning, and as long as I use the correct dose, she's fine.
The spray is a good idea, but harder to use. I'm never sure if I'm getting it where it needs to go.

4 out of 5 stars Great for your pet's teeth   April 6, 2008

We've used this product for about a month now, and it definately took some tartar off my pet's teeth. We've tried other toothpaste for dogs but this one definately is much better.

5 out of 5 stars Impressive   March 15, 2008

I have 7 dogs and 5 cats. I purchased this because I recently had the teeth of one of my little dogs cleaned the traditional route with anesthesia. Anesthesia is very risky, in my opinion, having lost a cat from anesthetic issues. I brush my dogs teeth daily but it doesn't seem to do much. So, I found this product and it arrived this afternoon. I applied it to all 4 of my little dogs right when it arrived and I'm absolutely amazed. Of course, my one dog who just had her teeth cleaned has perfectly clean teeth. But the three others had some plaque near the gums and their breath was horrendous. Amazingly enough, their teeth are absolutely white and their breath smells like nothing. This product is amazing. I've never written a review in my life, but read them incessantly. I felt it necessary to write this review because of my (granted limited) experience with this amazing product. I have faith that I'll never be back to the vet for teeth cleaning again. This is for cats and dogs and is CHEAP so order it! You can't lose anything with this product.

5 out of 5 stars It Actually Works   September 26, 2007

It actually works. It is easy to use and my dogs don't mind the application. It is definitely a less invasive means of cleaning your pet's teeth than by a Veteranarian cleaning--No anesthesia required.
