Just a snap and the tip of the swab is filled with Silibrite solution that prevents new tear stains and protects the delicate area around the eyes of dogs and cats. Bend the colored ring tip gently to one side until it snaps to release the liquid inside. Liquid flows down into the plain white tip. Apply directly to affected area. These swabs work great but you need to use them daily to get the eye stains to disappear. The container consists of 24 swabs which will last you 3 1/2 weeks. After about 2 weeks you will see the stains disappear completely. My dog was not bothered by the smell or the sensation of me using the swab underneath her eyes.
