Horrible Smelling Poorly Packaged Product May 10, 2008 I have heard positive things about Neem oil, so I had high hopes for this product. I should have paid attention to the review about the bad smell. This product smells so bad it is virtually intolerable. I mean it really reeks. I can't see how anyone could actually use this on their animals. Further, when the product came, it was not even sealed. The bottle had SCOTCH TAPE wrapped carelessly around the top. THERE WAS NO SEAL INSIDE! I would strongly suggest someone wanting to use Neem oil try a different product.
worked as a spot on flea treatment for my cats.... March 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
all i can say is my 3 cats no longer have fleas.and one still escapes to the outdoors, like a bat out of h....,anyway i use this with a dropper on the back of their necks once a month undiluted, it spreads in the skin like the poison drops from the v... and stor....s,my cats actually become much more calm.i did my research on google on "how to use neem on cats" before i gave to my cats. i researched for a few days hours of reading. i'm reletivly happy with the results-thankyou "RICHARDS ORGANICS" FOR YOUR PRODUCT.- now 6/2/08 i use the neem diluted only, during the flea infestation i used it straight,my grey cat was bald in the hind area with scabs and pus, now skin has healed, she gained weight,no more biting and pulling out fur, these fleas tried to kill my cats."azadirachtin" is what neem is made of ,this starves the flea and other paracites, thats how it works.it smells awefull, but after 3 days it soaks in and fades away.it smells rancid but that the smell, the pros out -weigh the cons.one more thing i put literally one drop of the stuff on cats during the infestation..my cats lick it off-that fine it'll kill internal paracites too, dead white thingys can out the bunghole end LOL,this stuff is great.if my cats were to show signs of illness i would stop using ang go to a vet.i am no vet,but i prefer to go all natural,a vet is used to "fix" them and for illness that has no natural remedy.
Rotten bad odor-could not use September 25, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The package was hot when received so maybe the neem oil was rancid from the heat. I could not put that on my cats since it smelled like a cross between tar and something horribly rotten. Possibly it could be used outside as an odor deterrent if one has problems w/ wildlife destroying gardens.
