The dosage is one pump daily for pets 20-39 lbs, two pumps for pets 40-59 lbs, 3 pumps for pets 60-79 lbs, and 4 pumps for pets 80-100 lbs. The pump bottle makes this so easy to use and the dogs LOVE it on their food...they think it is a treat.
Great for animals with skin problems January 14, 2008
This product is not only great for healthy pets, but it has worked wonders for my bulldog who has skin allergies. We give him one pump at every meal, and the 3V combined with other factors like bi-weekly allergy shots and baths 2x a week have made him "comfortably itchy" which the allergy vet said is the best that he will ever be! If he does have a flair up, the 3V helps his skin heal.
His coat is so shiny and healthy. When we take him to the dog park, you can literally tell the difference of which dogs get 3V and which do not just by looking at their coat.
My only complaint (and the reason why I docked it a star) is because while the pump is more convenient than the "pills" for those of us who have dogs who will not take the pill, the oil seems to get everywhere after a while! Every pump I buy ends up with the oil running down the sides and stinking everything up. And that smell stays with you too!
But this fact is obviously one of those things that I will deal with because it has had such great benefits for my dog!
