it's useless August 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
it doesn't have the bounce to continue to move back and forth and so unmotivating for the cats. I would've sent it back had it not been for the 15 or 20% restocking fee plus non-refundable shipping and the addition cost of shipping it back. I'd figure I'd lose half the cost of the item. I'd say don't buy it. I also should've checked the return policy. Restocking fee is discouraging and there's no phone number for customer service.
Pretty good. March 25, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This toy is solidly made, and the top part didn't pull off even when my friend's toddler picked it up and carried it around by the top feathers.
My cat only plays with it if I play with him. He's so co-dependent. He did have fun pulling off the toy mouse and running off with it.
was hoping for better February 27, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
though it's a well-made toy, my 4 cats weren't that thrilled with it. a big part of the problem seems to be the fact that the pendulum doesn't swing very freely. i loosened up the holding screws a bit & that helped but still only minimal interest from the cats :-(
Very Fun! January 7, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My cat is extremely picky with toys, but he LOVES this thing. I put treats in the bottom sometimes, too. He's always confused because when he chews on the top, the mouse moves, and when he plays with the mouse, the tassle moves. Keeps him busy. :)
The current favorite toy January 5, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Got this for the gang of 10, and it was a hit right out of the box. Came right before Christmas. The three youngest (4 and 5 months old) and the older Siamese (4 years old) are still fascinated by it enough that I move it out to another room at night. So far the everything is still intact; it seems very sturdily built.
The tassel seems to be the most fascinating bit; the ball and mouse below are second choice for targets. Worth the price in this household.
