Murad makes great skin care product; however, I'm not too keen about the exfoliating cleanser. It's a bit too harsh for my skin so I end up mixing it with my regular face cleanser so it tones down the harshness a bit.
Nothing Spectacular March 16, 2008
There really is nothing spectacular about this exfoliator and I thought there would be, due to the long list of skin helpers in it.
It's gentle enough to use everyday, but for me, it's kind of a wimpy exfoliator.
I really didn't notice a difference in my skin and I used it almost every day for a few weeks. It pretty much stayed the same, but, hey, at least I didn't break out!

I generally do not mind paying $30 bucks for a cleanser. This one feels good, and it does not dry my skin. But I can't say there is anything special about it. I tried Lancome's exfoliater before, and was trying to find something better than it, but I do not think this Murad is better. Not sure I would buy it again.

I love this exfoliating cleanser, and especially the way my face feels after using it. I have even used it on my feet....remarkable! I LOVE every Murad product I have tried.. but this is sure one of my favorites!

I love this cleanser!!! I have combination skin and I sometimes have breakouts, especially when I am stressed. This cleanser is great because it sloughs off the dead skin without irritation. I also love how it doesnt dry out my skin! And I have a lot less breakouts now, and when I do, its not as bad as it used to be. Even if you have sensitive skin, this cleanser is perfect, of course there are other great cleanser options if you think this will irritate your skin. Also, this cleanser really helps to minimize/clean out your pores. I really noticed a difference after using it for only a week.
I also recommend the Perfecting Lotion especially if you have slightly oily skin. I use it during the day and even at night(!)because it really improves my skin and I dont wake up with zits in the morning :)Plus, It saves me money since i dont have to by an acne treatment gel to put under my lotion.
