Product Description
This is a genuine, improved, re-designed and more durable clean water and solution tank for Hoover V2 SteamVacs. The earlier design had problems with the valves breaking and leaking. In this new version the tank is redesigned and there is no separate solution bottle. It is all molded together with new and improved valves. The color is also different. Therefore, when you see the tank if it is not clear and tank solution bottle is not molded, chances are you are getting an older version or a generic part. Since the introduction of this version we have not had any consumer complaints.

Far better than the original tank that came with the product. Even if your original tank still 'holds water', you should get this tank as a backup. A better design, all-in-one construction.
New Clean Water Tank September 30, 2008
I purchased the new clean water tank & solution reservoir assembly when the valves broke on the original tank on our Hoover Dual Steam Vac Widepath after 4 years. I haven't used it yet but did attach it and the new handle, purchase at the same time, to the machine. They fit perfectly. Seems to be a better plastic than the original. Not as brittle. Hoover has been my favorite brand of vacuum and steam vac for years. Worth every penny if it works. Hoover dual V solution tank 90001295

This container is better then the original that came on my SteamVac. Because it is the new improved one. it has the detergent container all together with clean water tank & has new & better seals. Very happy that my old one was broken by my sister-in-law!
Replacement Bottle September 22, 2008
It replaced the earlier design and completely solves the cracking and leaking that existed. In this case the new is far better than the old.
