I Have a Subscription So I'll Never Run Out August 2, 2008 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I got my first shipment almost a year ago. All three packages arrived safe and sound. Since then, I put these on subscription because I like them so much! I have never had any broken or leaking capsules. I like them because the bag stands up and doesn't take up much room on my dryer. I just store the extra bags above the washer in a cabinet. Just one dropp cleans a whole load of clothes just fine. I think one time I washed 5 pairs of dirty jeans in one load and I used 2 Dropps for that one -- normal loads though work fine with just a single Dropp. I like the fragrance too but would not mind if it was stronger and lasted longer. I do still use a Bounce Dryer Sheet. Maybe I don't need to but I like Bounce and haven't felt like trying to do my clothes or sheets without it.
Most particularly, I really like not having to clean up spilled laundry detergent when I overload the measuring cup. I also had a tendency to forget to screw down the lid tight on the huge jug and once I accidentally knocked the thing off my dryer. What a mess that was to clean up! I've actually dropped a couple of the Dropps on the floor, too. They just plopped down and didn't break.
The Disolving Dropps work wonderfully for me. I like the fact, too that there is much less packaging waste with this product. I have given samples to several of my friends at work and recommend this product highly.
Great responsible product July 31, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These environmentally responsible and vegan detergent packs do a great job of cleaning. Very convenient to just toss one in your load. The "fresh scent" is very light and kind of a "linen" type smell.
Good Product But Expensive July 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I like the convenience, the quality and the fact that it is eco friendly but I go through one bag in one week. You usually need two dropps for one load, so that means only 10 loads per bag. At $19(when you subscribe &save) that is quite steep for laundry detergent.
Works great July 1, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It is a bit pricey, my only fault with it. I got them for my husband to use, he had a stroke 19 years ago and is now paralyzed on one side. He wants to do his own laundry, but it is hard for him to pour the liquid in and remember how much to use. With this, he just pops a tab in, turns it on, and uses a dryer sheet in dryer in place of fab softner in the washer. It is worth the price to me to make it easy for him, and it works well also. I also like it is 'green', not much waste and safe to use.
Leakage 101 June 21, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought several packages of this laundry dropps. Unfortunately, several of the little packets were damaged, and the outer packages weren't sealed. Not knowing this, I left the plastic bag I had stored the packages in on my wooden floor. Later, I picked up the plastic bag to find that liquid had leaked out onto the floor, ruining the finish in a 6x8" area. Examining the packages, I found that two had burst packets, and also defective outer packages. I haven't opened the third package, but am pretty sure that at least some of the little detergent capsules are not sealed.
I used the product, and it seems to work well. On clothes. It's effect on floors, cardboard, and books is disasterous. If you buy this product, check for shipping damage immediately.
