Buyer beward October 11, 2008 Shame on Amazon to allow a picture of boxed product to be shown with a different product to be shipped. It is not produced in US. It is produced in India. Read the small print.
Would not purchase again October 4, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product, while shown as coming in a box, came in blister packs that were rubber banded together (I know that is listed later on in the description, but they should not display a box). It looks suspicious, and some of the packs look as if they had been crushed. The pills do not look like the normal Prilosec pills. I decided not to risk it and disposed of the pills. I would not recommend this product due to the uncertainty of its quality and packaging.
Good enough September 24, 2008 Official Prilosec comes in annoying blister packs, this pictured a box so I expected it to come in a bottle. Instead, they come in a different annoying blister pack. It's essentially two layers of foil with the capsule in between. It's much easier to access, but the capsules tend to stick to the foil. As others noted, it's a capsule with granules inside which is distinctly different from the real ones. Store-brand generics of Aleve look exactly the same, but I don't know that it's a problem. I've been taking them for 2 weeks now and haven't noticed any difference.
Suspicious of this product September 14, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This generic of Prilosec doesn't look like any other generic I have purchased before. It is a clear capsule while all the others, including the "real" Prilosec are pink hard tablet. The markings on the blister pack are Chinese which makes me very leary. In additon, since I have been using this product, which by the way I have quit taking, I have expeerienced serious stomach problems. I would really think twice about ordering this version of the generic Prilosec.
great value September 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
