Product Description
Cigar and cigarette smoke causes drapes, upholstered furniture, rugs, clothing and hair to smell of stale smoke long after you've put it out. This Smokeless Ashtray has a four-stage smoke filtering system and lets smokers and non-smokers experience cleaner home environments and fresher air. The plastic cordless ashtray uses 2 C batteries (not included). Extra filters are available separately. For battery installation, hold half of the ashtray with one hand while twisting and pulling apart with the other hand. Note: Some force may be needed to separate halves.

 A piece of junk October 6, 2008
This was a poorly made piece of junk. At first I couldn't get it to turn on. Then I couldn't get it to turn off. Total waste of my money.

I AM VERY DISSAPOINTED, I PURCHASED THIS AND IT CAME FAULTY, IT DID NOT WORK, I AM STILL WAITING FOR THE COMPANY TO REPLACE IT.
I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED PURCHASING THROUGH AMAZON, UNTIL NOW.

What the heck? It's too cold to go outside for a smoke so I sneak a few in my back office with the hopes that using this device reduces the amount of "smoke damage". I personally think it's a benefit and would recommend it for those who don't have high expectations of its performance.

I don't recommend this ashtray to anyone. I was never able to use it since there were no instructions with it and I could not figure out how to put batteries in. Other people tried besides me. There was no way to contact the company as their website doesn't seem to exist anymore. At least I couldn't contact them after numerous attempts.
